Rust Pond Morning Calm
I was driving out of Wolfeboro this morning, around 7:00 AM, when I caught a glimpse of Rust Pond and had a quick mental conversation: “should I stop and take a picture… eh, I should just get to work… maybe I could… Just turn around and take a couple extra minutes out of your day and get this photo!” So, having been defeated by the motivational side of my brain, I turned around, went back and parked at the end of Winnipesaukee Estates, and crossed the road to take this picture.
This is one of the places that I like to look out at when I head out of Wolfeboro. Rust Pond is usually very calm and beautiful. This morning, with the fog lifting and the sun coming up behind the mountains, it gave it a soft glow.
